MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Job Purpose

The Blender will utilize production equipment in accordance to the specified work instructions and procedures for the paste blending processes. The candidate will be responsible for their respective equipment and tools and will have complete ownership their production line and the quality of their products.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of the blending processes:
  • Weigh and mix raw materials as specified in work instructions
  • Set up and operate mixers.
  • Clearly document required information on work instructions and process control sheets.
  • Demonstrate ownership for the production line.
• Follow exact process procedures and work instructions.
• Identify and track all dedicated tools in accordance with best 6S practices, maintain equipment cleanliness and conduct on-time PM.
• Complete and maintain all process records including process control charts and PM checklists.
• Actively participate in weekly stand-up meetings in the Paste department.
• Consult with team lead on production schedule.
• Communicate and drive new ideas to improve quality and reduce costs through continuous improvement activities.
• Identify and notify Functional Lead/Supervisor of process and/or equipment problems.
• Encourage and support systematic External and Internal Change Control Procedures.
• Support and follow all 6S practices.
• Maintain positive working relationships and effectively communicate required information to peers and other related departments as needed.
• Act as a technical resource during root cause analysis, Assist in the training of less experienced personnel.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Chemical operating experience is a plus
