Our Birthday Party Facilitators are excited to help us create a fun and engaging learning experience for children at our Snapology of Lancaster Discovery Center. They bring fun and excitement to each birthday party they host. Their energetic and bubbly personality is great for engaging with both kids and adults alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up for party, create name tags for children, provide direction to assistant party facilitator, greet and welcome party guests, check and obtain waivers as needed
• Introduce children to Discovery Center Stations, conduct Party activity using part guide, show enthusiasm and stay engaged, and manage behavior of the children
• Promote other programs and additional party bookings, serve cupcakes, cake, and/or pizza, provide excellent customer service, take care of all tasks during the party
• Assist guests when exiting, take payment, assist parents in gathering all gifts and loading in their car, clean up after party, promote other programs

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with children of all ages and backgrounds
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Clear criminal and child abuse history clearances required
• Must have the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs

Additional Details:

• Salary: $14-$16 an hour plus tips
• Location: Lancaster, Reading, & Hershey
• Work Schedule: Part-time, weekend only work, off during the week except Friday night
