Housing and Human Services is currently looking to hire a Bilingual Parenting Time Supervisor. This is the supervisory level classification in the Human Services Caseworker series. The Bilingual Human Services Casework Manager performs supervisory and highly complex casework duties with responsibility for planning, organizing and directing the work of a unit of Human Services Caseworkers.

This position is one of three supervisors in our Family Integration (FIT) program. FIT provides Family time, therapeutic Family time, and Life Skills services. This specific position will be responsible for supervising staff who facilitate Parenting Time, as well as some scheduling for Parenting time. This service is provided for parents and children who are placed out of their home. The goal is to work toward reunification of the family.

The position involves direct supervision of Family Time staff and the Family Time program. It involves development and implementation of programming, as well as participation on the larger Family and Children's Services management and DHHS management teams. This position also involves involvement with state workgroups.

This is a full-time, benefitted position. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with adjustment for flexible hours and some Saturday mornings. This position will primarily work in the Longmont Hub 515 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is exempt.

Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.

Hiring Salary Range: $74,988.00 - $91,476.00 Annually

Tentative Hiring Timeline:


  • Phone Screening: Week of March 27th
  • First Round Interviews: Week of March 27th
  • Second Round Interviews: Week of April 3rd

Examples of Duties

  • Review of referral materials and assignment of families to staff
  • Supervision and oversight of staff in delivery of services
  • Participation in direct support for families attending Parenting Time
  • Attendance at court hearings and provision of court testimony
  • Development and implementation of programming in Family Time, including culturally responsive programming
  • Collection, collation, and presentation of data pertaining to visitation
  • Participation in a quarterly visitation forum with other counties
  • Performs related work as required.
  • May be reassigned in emergency situations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Boulder County is looking for well qualified candidates to fill our positions. Any combination of relevant education and experience is encouraged. In this position, we are looking for a minimum of Bachelor's degree in a human behavioral science or related field and five years of professional social casework experience, including one year in a supervisory or lead capacity.

Additional related education may count towards required experience.

BILINGUAL SKILLS:

  • Applicants must demonstrate fluency at the time of the pre-employment screening process. Spanish language proficiency will be determined through standardized demonstration and written and oral testing.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND FINGERPRINTING:
  • Applicants must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE :
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license
