we are currently seeking candidates for a seasonal selling role who speaks fluent English & Portuguese in our store. the seasonal sales associate will represent and communicate the kate spade brand and lifestyle to customers by providing the highest level of customer service and operational excellence. responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities

essential duties and responsibilities

client & service expert:

• Greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor, ensuring exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate kate spade experience

building brand equity:

• understand and communicate the kate spade aesthetic, brand philosophy and lifestyle to the customer

operational excellence:

• replenish merchandise on the sales floor; ensure selling floor is stocked throughout the day
• execute operational tasks as per company directives
• adhere to and apply visual directives, ensure that store standards are executed daily
• be knowledgeable of stock including quantity, how many units are on hand, what is selling and what is not
• back of the house and front of house stock organization

physical and scheduling requirements:

• must be available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings, weekends, holidays
• standing for extended periods of time
• able to safely lift boxes up to 60 pounds
• comfortable climbing ladders

skills and abilities required:

• proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize
• strong communication and interpersonal skills
• demonstrate interest and ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications

education and experience required:

• minimum 1 to 2 year experience in a retail industry, professional selling experience preferred
• high school degree preferred
• English proficiency
• bilingual preferred
