The Position: Full time staff either work 2 10.5 hour days (8-7) and 2 8.5 hour days (8-5) and have one day off during the week, or work 4 8.5hr days and 1 4 hour day. That is sometimes flexible, depending on clinic and employee needs.

Required qualifications:

  • Excellent team skills and great communicator

  • Strong computer skills
  • Spanish speaking

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years medical experience
  • Interpreter certification

Purpose: To joyfully serve as part of a team providing excellent and caring health care in partnership with patients and families, and to provide support to the provider(s) and managers

Responsibilities:

Dependent on experience and training. Works under the direction of medical provider(s) and managers to do things such as:

  • Answer phones, schedule, check patients in
  • Answer phones, return calls, perform insurance prior authorizations, schedule appointments and imaging studies, check in patients, and other clerical or reception duties as directed
  • Perform medical charting, updating, and recordkeeping
  • Order and maintain supplies and equipment
  • Additional duties as trained and directed by provider(s) or office manager
