Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Inventory Specialist in Summerville .

Responsibilities of a Inventory Specialist includes:

The Inventory Control Specialist will oversee and manage the warehouse supply chain and product inventory. Using warehouse management software, the incumbent will manage product inventory shipped and received. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for developing procedures to effectively manage and maintain warehouse inventory.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develops procedures to effectively manage and maintain inventory
• Develop and maintain inventory counting rules as defined by the company’s inventory classifications
• Oversee and manage the inventory storage space in the warehouse to ensure sufficient space to store new product shipments
• Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems including, conducting daily reconciliation of put-a-way, aisle audits and cycle counts
• Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers
• Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors
• Communicates with Purchasing Department as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
• Ensures milestones and goals are met, including approved budgets and forecasting
• Ensure ERP data and technologies to manage and update their inventory records are correct

Job Requirements of a Inventory Specialist

• Must be able to work full-time on-site at manufacturing center in Summerville, SC
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual Preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures
• At least five years of experience in related area required
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred

Pay: $37,440.00 - $41,600.00 per year
