CVS Health is hiring for a Sr Consultant - BI Engineering. This position will develop and maintain analytic products including reports and dashboards for CVS Caremark customers and account teams.

Essential Job Functions:

• Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to conduct quality assurance testing on data from initial delivery to final product to ensure results are accurate, within specifications and aligned with documented requirements.
• Create new queries and modify existing queries to generate new report outputs, validate and test all changes, and obtain signoff from business partners. Lead end-to end development efforts to analyze future needs.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for clients and internal partners and perform routine maintenance on existing offerings and address special requests.
• Work in a team environment facilitated by an analytic design process supported by several internal customers.
• Support skill development of team by sharing knowledge, developing, and sharing new technical skills and providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.
• Partner with other teams within CVS Health to create extracts from upstream data sources and push data into tables to be used by other teams within the department.
• Ensure proper maintenance of key project documentation.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 70,000
Maximum: 140,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of SQL programming experience in a SQL server environment and a data warehouse environment (Teradata, Oracle or UDB)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience with SSIS
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment, in writing functional specification documentation and leading cross functional initiatives across an enterprise
• Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts and results to business partners
• High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience
• Experience with Tableau dashboards
• Experience with SSRS

Education
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering or closely related field. Masters degree preferred
