Gemma Services has an IBHS program operating out of our new Mt. Airy location. The Behavior Consultant will be responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of treatment plans and other intervention plans and directing the quality of the treatment activities of the Mobile Therapists and Behavior Health Technicians, all of which is individualized to each child or adolescent and to family needs in collaboration with other members of the treatment team.

This position is a fee for service part-time employee position (minimum 15 hours per week).

Masters Degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Worker, Psychiatric Nursing or Marriage and Family Therapy. Degree must include clinical coursework in the foundations of behavioral health and the provision of mental health services (e.g., individual, group and family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, crisis counseling, abnormal psychology, psychopathology, assessment, child development, personality theory, psychotherapy lab, clinical practicum)

Two (2) years verified post-masters experience providing mental health treatment to children, and at least one (1) year experience using behavior analysis/modification techniques.

Minimum of 8 hours of prior training in behavior analysis/modification.

BSL or relevant state license preferred
