Job description
The ideal candidate for this position has a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and an outgoing personality. This is a busy position, so we're looking for someone with the ability to multitask, keep focused and make accurate decisions in a high-stress environment. Previous experience in a busy bar setting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Be competent in preparing, presenting and serving drinks to patrons using proper glassware and garnishes.
- Maintain an orderly, clean bar area.
- Greet customers and take their orders.
- Distribute drinks to patrons.
- Balance the cash register and make change for customers.
- Wash glasses, utensils and plates and clear tables after patrons have left.
- Communicate with management about any problems.
- Provide excellent customer service.
