Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic Bartender to provide an excellent drinking experience. Bartenders will be expected to handle high volume drinks and food turn over. Bartenders will pour our Ocean One Signature Martinis and Cocktails. This is a free pour bar that is constantly monitored. Compensations include salary and tips/ tip outs. If you’d like to gain experience in the restaurant industry and learn how to provide an excellent dining experience, we’d like to meet you. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing alcoholic or non-alcholic beverages for bar and patrons.

• Interacting with customers, taking accurate orders, and serving apps and drinks.

• Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences. Always making recommendations.

• Preparing batch cocktails (mojitos, sangrias, mules, lemon drops, margaritas).

• Cutting the necessary amount of fruit required for your shift.

• Welcoming our famous concept while presenting the food menu. Integrating daily specials.

• *Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age*.

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies (extremely low inventory must be reported to manager on duty).

• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.

• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.

• Ring all drinks in before you pour them.

• Greet customers with water when they are waiting for drinks.

• After each ring in, we drop checks off with drinks or immediately after.
