Pay Range: $17.00 per hour

Greet guests, making them feel welcome. Operate cash register taking payment fromcustomers. Maintain the front housekeeping service areas clean and stocked with product. This position will also bring a greater knowledge of coffee and all that it encompasses to our guests. The coffee specialist will teach others about coffee, which can include combinations of food and coffee, etiquette, how to serve the beverage, how to prepare it and how to properly store it.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

• Operate Cash Register accurately.
• Recognize menu items and accurately charge customers for purchases.
• Smile, greet, and serve customers making them feel welcome.
• Prepare and stock service areas for hot or cold beverages, such as coffee and teas.
• Stock customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils or equipment.
• Clean service areas.
• Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend and preparationdescriptions.
• Display prepared foods, such as muffins, biscotti and bagels.
• Wrap, label, or date food items for sale.
• Set up or restock beverage and product displays.
• Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
• Commitment to the service values and ethics of the client company.
• Prepare and/or serve hot and/or cold beverages.
• Ensure equipment is working properly.
• Operate and maintain coffee outlet with regards to flow, consistency, and general appearance.
• Ability to hold employees to high levels of service and sanitation.
• And other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

• Passion for customer service

• Serve Safe certification
• Existing deep knowledge of coffee and various brewing techniques
• Background in customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic, engaging and passionate
• 1-year experience in a food service environment
• 1 year providing excellent one on one customer service
• 1-year management of coffee service.
