Key Responsibilities:
- Present and demonstrate technical education in accordance with Aveda Institute standards.
- Evaluate students’ technical performance daily and develop coaching plans to elevate standard.
- Educate the Barber students of the Aveda Institute on curriculum focused on machine cuts, scissor cuts, straight razor shaves, fades, lineups and more!
- Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation to students.
- Coach in the moment, encourage innovation and teach during each model or mannequin workshop.
- Maintain clinic/classroom sanitation.
- Works with Institute Director to address student challenges
- Participate in educator meetings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Barber License Required
- 2-5 years behind the chair
- Aveda product knowledge/experience preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Experience training and coaching
- Flexible to work evenings and weekend
