WATERFRONT RESORT - RESTAURANT & BAR MANAGER

PIRATE COVE RESORT, the largest and busiest waterfront resort on the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada and Lake Havasu, Arizona is hiring a Management Professional to over sea the day to day operation of our Restaurant & Bar.

The work is fast paced, the environment is upbeat, and our customers appreciate life on the river plus off-roading on the adjacent 3,200 miles of recreational trails.

Responsibilities:

• Seeks out and uses service-related guest feedback and takes appropriate action to continually improve the level of service, drive overall guest satisfaction, increase return visits, and reduce guest complaints.
• Develops and implements plans to continually improve guest satisfaction in the areas of server attentiveness and table cleanliness.
• Concentrates on training service personnel, to continually improve the guest experience.
• Ensures safety, sanitation, and security guidelines are followed at all times and immediately resolves any items identified in inspections.
• Reinforces suggestive selling behaviors by ensuring that the guest is invited to enjoy specialty menu items, side orders, beverages, and desserts as part of the dining experience.
• Responsible for maintaining the Company standards of products, services, and quality.
• Participate in overall operation, P&L Analysis and Budgeting.
• Recruiting, hiring, oversight, training and scheduling staff.
• Staff training on proper food preparation, legal alcoholic beverage service, kitchen safety techniques and an understanding of health standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in high volume restaurant/bar environment. FOH/BOH Management a plus.
• Must have excellent customer service skills as well as clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Team management skills.
• Proficiency in Toast, Aloha/POS system, Microsoft Office Suite + Outlook.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check; valid driver’s license.
• San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card & CA ABC Certificate

Compensation – $20-$22 per hour based on Experience and Skills
