Position Title: Banquet Sales & Events Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Operations

Position Summary:

As the Banquet Sales & Events Coordinator you are responsible for the banquets and events at our three locations, Rally5, Simmer & Mas Fuegos. We have 5 private rooms that can accomadate groups as large as 120 people. You will work closely with the event hosts, form the initial call, being present at the event, and through follow up after the event completion. You will work with the Director of Operations and General Managers to build this segment of our businesses. Working closely with the guest discussing requirements, making recommendations, determine proper set up, specific guest needs, buffets, action stations, etc. and coordinating this with the restaurant teams.

Working closely with the restaurant teams, you are responsible for the execution and delivery of all events, maximizing revenue, utilization of the facilities and working to achieve or exceed the defined budgeted revenues for our banquet department.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Knowledgeable at negotiations and sales
  • Outgoing and a people person
  • Marketing skills and experience
  • Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, and coworkers while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in the hospitality industry with an emphasis in sales and/or banquet operations and one year of restaurant management experience preferred

Goals:

  • Working with the Director of Operations to build our banquet business from the ground up
  • Answer banquet sales inquiries, scheduling appointments with clients to tour space and go over details
  • Be the single point of contact for our banquet guests from the initial call to post event follow up
  • Located and find new leads for banquet sales
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirt to make this business the best in Fort Collins
  • Work closely with the General and Kitchen Managers to ensure that we can provide an unmatched experience for our guests
  • Learn our restaurant and help daily operations when needed
  • Work will be based out of the restaurants
  • Develop and Manage events to fill in times when the facilities are not booked
  • Aid in marketing responsibilities for all our restaurants
  • Manage our social media accounts

Availability:

Flexible hours/Full availability, Evenings, weekends, and holidays will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
