Job Description:
- To support the CHS facility in the pursuit of Ramp Excellence.
- Embracing a culture of safety and security in a facility.
- Efficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement and modernization.
- Marshals inbound aircraft into ramp area of assigned gate.
- Load and unload unit load devices (ULD’s) containing mail and freight from aircraft.
- Prepare and/or operate ground support equipment (GSE) for safe operation in preparation for aircraft arrival/departure.
- May provide potable water, lavatory, and cleaning services to aircraft upon request.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Facility Operations:
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Maintain Ramp procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe operational condition.
Operations/Quality:
- Oversee the processes in the area of responsibility.
- Following operational standards (OPS) and KPI expectations.
- Improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost through continuous improvement methods.
- Maintain compliance to facility certification requirements and government policies.
Skills/Experience/qualifications:
- Expertise in Ramp operations.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to help achieve team goals.
- Lift and move up to 70 pounds.
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and time management skills.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be flexible with schedule, including weekends and holidays.
