Duties

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Azure Developer to join our high performing team that delivers and supports services across the U.S. and Mexico to the North American businesses of the Tokio Marine Group. You will lead and/or participate in the analysis, design, development and operations of various services and integration components on Microsoft Azure.

A track record of proven development experience using Microsoft Azure platform and providing technical mentorship and contributions to a team of developers is essential. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, self-directed, and passionate hands on developer who is quick at analysis and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead/participate in the analysis, design and technical implementation of different services and integration related components according to provided technical specifications and business requirements
  • Responsible for the development, maintenance and enforcement of SDLC artifacts/processes, departmental standards related to services implementation
  • Ensure accuracy of the implementation through unit testing and assisting in QA & user acceptance testing
  • Communicate technical recommendations back to business analysts, subject matter experts and end users
  • Participate in on-going L3 support & resolution for implemented integration related components per established SLAs
  • Maintain Integration coding best practices and standards. Ensure that the best practices are enforced and followed during the development process with various team members
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to a team of developers. Support offshore and junior developers by providing advice, coaching and technical support on their development tasks
  • Plan and create release packages of integration services and related components while working with the release management team
  • Align to the maintenance and enforcement of SDLC processes, departmental standards, style requirements and all other procedures necessary for data and system integrity
  • Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company

Qualifications

Degree / Licenses and Professional Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred
  • Microsoft Azure (AZ 204 and AZ 400) certifications is a plus

Experience

  • 4+ years of development experience with Azure PaaS and SaaS technologies including API management, Service Bus, web hooks, APIs, Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
  • 2 + years of experience with the Azure Logic apps with different triggers and logic Apps Standard Plan
  • 4+ years of experience with the Azure APIM development and configuration. Experience with automation scripting using ARM template
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment with Continuous Integration and Deployment via Azure DevOps Services
  • Experience developing and consuming SOAP, JSON and REST APIs, using API Gateway Security and implementing multiple systems integration points
  • Professional experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, HTTP(s), FTP
  • Experience with open source tools & frameworks i.e. Serilog, Kibana, SonarQube, Nuget, Entity framework is preferred
  • 4+ years professional experience in developing C# and ASP.NET based web applications and web sites for cross-browser consumption
  • 4+ years professional development experience with SQL using Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • 4+ years professional experience in developing and deploying .NET Framework/.NET Core applications with either WCF or MVC or WEB API/RESTful services
  • Development experience using Web API using ASP.Core is a plus
  • Experience working in insurance industry P&C sector is a plus

Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of API management and service catalog management concepts and practices
  • Strong knowledge of the concepts, and best practices for integration development
  • Deep understanding of database design and data modeling
  • Knowledge of activities, tasks, practices, deliverables and techniques for implementing new or enhance integrations into a production environment
  • Knowledge of concepts in code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning etc
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems, ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Strong knowledge of Unit testing frameworks and SOAPUI/ReadyAPI/Postman
  • Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Object-Oriented Programming

Salary range $98,840.00 to $145,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
