The AVP of Sales Operations is key stakeholder in the development of short and long term, effective sales strategies to grow our business. This position will assist the SVP of Sales with organizational processes, implementation, and development of new and future projects
The AVP of Sales Operations works directly with the Senior Vice President of Sales for an easy flow of work and communication. He/She ensures availability and provision of relevant bookings, pipeline and forecast reports, and dashboards to sales management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership

  • Responsible for managing the Sales Operations team and supporting sales activities
  • As the 1st line of support to sales teams, develop strategic partnerships with all AOR’s.
  • Must uphold and demonstrate the company’s mission and values with accountability
  • Work to identify gaps, needs, & opportunities, then formulate recommended solutions & implementation plans
  • Launch innovative processes that generate significant ROI for the company, including new methods
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and develop important relationships with the senior executive team.
  • Facilitate strong working relationships with all relevant departments at SCI and SCID

Technology:

  • Be a master of the current CRM platform, Salesforce
  • Supports the effective use of all corporate CRM and SFA systems to raise sales team productivity and compliance
  • Demonstrate technological abilities assisting with the implementation of new systems

Compensation Strategies and Budgeting

  • Key stakeholder and partner with SVPS, working with the Sales operations team and marketing team to create and update the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales budgets by location
  • Help to develop the monthly sales plans for the teams to follow.
  • Acts as a primary contact/administrator for sales compensation, commission, and ad hoc bonus programs

Marketing

  • Responsible for deciding where and what type of leads are given to various locations based on conversion.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to make sure we are balancing the needs of the sales team within the Marketing budget.
  • Prepare and maintain annual and quarterly sales goals in conjunction with the Sales Operations Team, Marketing, and the SVP of Sales
  • Leads and managers sales management meetings on a regular basis to provide updates on relevant Sales Operations initiatives and development
  • Other duties as assigned

Staffing

  • Recruit and hire sales operations managers based on the required job profiles, and perform the training programs.
  • Coaches and creates growth strategies/maps for members of the sales operations team
  • Continuously assess the needs of the department from a staffing perspective and recommend solutions.

Provide Sales Reporting and Analysis

  • Create, update, develop, and monitor daily and monthly reports for sales activities
  • Coordinates reporting and analysis with the financial team for weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting. Monitor on going expenses

MINIMUM Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline
  • Masters Degree not required, but is a plus

Experience

  • 8 years industry sales experience
  • 5 years sales management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement strategies and manage change
  • Creative thinker with excellent business acumen, proven track record of creating and executing sales program strategies (plan and calendar) that effectively reaches all of the company’s customer segments.
  • Very responsive, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to address a wide range of needs within the organization and at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where collaboration is necessary and accountability is expected
  • The ability to travel to various locations based on business need is required.

Work CONDITIONS
Work Environment

  • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions
  • Limited amount of local and/or multiple location traveling required
  • Comply with approved dress code policy.

Work Postures

  • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day
  • Climbing stairs to access buildings frequently

Physical Demands

  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage

Work Hours

  • Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises
  • Travel up to 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
