The role

The Aviation Instructor will train students to operate aircraft safely. Your role will help teach their students safety rules and the basic principles of flight and aircraft operation. Material this role will cover with their students includes flight conditions, instruments in the cockpit, landings, taking off and how to check all systems on the plane

Responsibilities

• Deliver the standardized ATP Elevate ground school curriculum using virtual classroom automation and technology.
• Ensures the course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by all assigned students as stipulated in the applicable Training Course Outline.
• Responsible for the timely course completion of all students assigned, including completion of required testing and labs.
• Assists with curriculum and courseware development as needed.
• Maintain the highest standards regarding education and curriculum development by attending administrative, training, and instructor development meetings as assigned.
• Able to provide ground instruction for certificates and ratings within the ATP Airline Career Pilot Program.

Qualifications

• One year of teaching experience (400 hours)
• FAA Advanced Ground Instructor certificate
• FAA medical not required
• Excellent teaching and communication skills are required.
• 1-year CFI or 400 Hours Dual Given
• College Degree
• Virtual Teaching
