Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY: The Collision Center Receptionist answers incoming telephone calls and greets visitors in a friendly, attentive, and helpful manner. As the initial point of contact the Receptionist represents the Dimmitt servant heart's culture by being a pro-active listener and information source and knows all points-of-contact for every department within the company to promptly assist guests and callers. In addition, the Receptionist performs administrative duties and operates a multi-line phone system for call routing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Models by example the Company’s mission statement by being an empowered, passionate and positive associate who provides exceptional personalized service to the Company’s guests and community. To live by the Standards of Excellence set forth by Dimmitt Automotive Group.
  • Greets guests and determine the nature of their visit.
  • Directs and introduces guests to the appropriate associate.
  • Answers basic guest inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate associate.
  • Provides brochures and other information to guests.
  • Enters data into computer-operated CRM system.
  • Uses the multi-line phone system to receive and relay calls.
  • Receives all incoming calls, screens the calls and appropriately forwards the calls.
  • Communicates with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to expedite the call.
  • Takes thorough messages for key management staff, indicating the caller's first and last name, company name if applicable, the time, and the message the caller wishes to leave.
  • Communicates messages to all appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Follows Company safety policies and practices, and immediately reports any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • Performs clerical duties and accounting duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Operate office equipment including computer, scanner, printer, copier.
  • Work effectively with guests, staff and all levels of management.
  • Present a positive and professional image to applicants, staff and vendors.
  • Manage multiple projects and duties simultaneously.


QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

Excellent computer knowledge with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality industry

Automotive dealership or collision experience preferred
