PARTS COUNTER SALES

Beck Chevrolet in Yonkers, NY is seeking a Parts Counter representative with at least two years of retail parts experience. GM EXPERIENCE is a plus. This job is a full-time job, and we offer a salary plus commission as well as a benefits package...

Responsibilities and Duties

- Manning from retail counter

- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts

- Pull purchased parts from stock.

- If the part is not in stock, determine availability and propose an order.

- Answer phone orders, providing price quotes and other information.

- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

- Verify will call and back-ordered and special orders daily.

- Assists in managing inventory and the appearance of Parts Department.

- Process credit for parts returned.

- Keep front counter area clean and uncluttered.

- Performs other assigned duties that include, but are not limited to, stocking, cleaning, customer service, and inventory management.

- Complete all required GM training materials

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. At least one year of prior experience in a dealership parts department is required. Professional personal appearance. Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several clients at a time. Will be required to wear a dealership-provided uniform.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
