Samaritan’s Purse is seeking a full-time Travel Coordinator Associate to join our Incident Management Team in Boone, NC. The Travel Coordinator provides support for the Incident Management Team/Disaster Assistance Response Team (IMT/DART) by making travel arrangements for all individuals deploying including scheduling flights and ground transportation, booking accommodations and handling any other trip-related tasks as they arise. A day in the life of a Travel Coordinator Associate:

At Samaritan’s Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and prayer. We hear from members of our staff, both from IHQ and our global offices, as well a special guest speaker who encourages us in God’s word. We then join together to prayer for one another, as well as praying for staff and volunteers who serve around the globe. We get paid to start each day this way!

In the role of a Travel Coordinator Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Make travel arrangements for personnel as directed, communicating directly with the Travel department and the personnel traveling. Maintains daily travel tracker to reflect staff movement
• Create and maintain pre and post-deployment packets and provides appropriate travel documentation and instructions to travelers
• Assist with vaccination & testing requirements, visa applications, and related travel support as needed
• Initiate and monitor travel authority documentation for DART personnel, apprentices, and staff
• Remain available on-call during evenings and weekends to problem solve any travel issues
• 0% of time in contact with Samaritan’s Purse beneficiaries (children, young adults, adults at risk) promoting and safeguarding their welfare within the context of Samaritan’s Purse operations.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and six (6) months to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
