Associate Manufacturing Engineer (On Site)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in maintaining standard procedures & instructions in support of manufacturing needs
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise; collaborate with other disciplines as needed to implement improvements
• Be able to understand NC code and troubleshot NC programs. (CAM software knowledge is a plus)
• Provide technical support for customer issues, 3rd party audits, vendor issues and other external needs
• Participate in projects
• Provide day to day support in engineering discipline

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 2D and #D CAD
• CAM Software knowledge
• Basic blueprint reading, engineering drawing interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing skills
• Microsoft Office suite
• Highly self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Ability to act and perform independently within the required scope of the position
• Ability to be flexible and respond to changing needs
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
• Ability to interpret specifications and convert them to internal requirements
• Ability to work well in cross functional teams

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree in mechanical engineering or comparable technical field

Mechanical background: Hands on experience in machining or machinery repair, design, or troubleshooting. Experience from internships and/or employment okay.

Pay Range: $29.42/hr - $48.64/hr

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 40 lbs

Note: Physical job requirements may include standing, use of hands to assemble and or carry out job functions as well as sitting, lifting, carrying, bending and stooping during the course of the job.
