Job Overview:

Hostess Brands is looking for an agile, solution oriented, and intellectually curious mindset to join our team as the Associate Manager eCommerce and Shopper Marketing. This role is multi-faceted and responsible for executing the eCommerce growth strategy, including digital shelf management. Also managing investments by customer in support of ecommerce, and partnership with Hostess media team on executing a joint media plan. This role will partner heavily across our sales teams to communicate and customize our marketing efforts and consumer insights work down to the customer and channel level to deliver back profitable growth and key account specific learning.


This role will be joining a new team within our marketing group, reporting to the Director of eCommerce and Shopper Marketing. Ideal candidates for this role should have eCommerce experience, as well as having leveraged insights to develop effective Shopper Marketing programs. Strong collaboration skills are essential in order to build strong partnership with sales and customer teams. Previous experience in Retailer Media Networks is also a plus.

Responsibilities:
eCommerce Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate as the subject matter expert for eCommerce content syndication, benchmarking, publication, and reporting ongoing performance.
  • Engineer solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with empowerment to create solutions.
  • Leverage experience with Salsify, Syndigo, Profitero, etc. or similar content syndicators to deliver industry leading capabilities and an unparalleled shopping experience across retailer platforms.
  • Define and streamline the process, delivering best-practices and pivots to accelerate speed to market and deliverables.
  • Understand varied retailer requirements around eCommerce content and are familiar with enterprise PIM/DAM systems.
  • Willingness to do more than your part while executing with excellence in partnership with internal cross functional teams and external agency partners.
  • Collaborate with Brand teams to create enhanced content. Deploy and update enhanced content as retailer platforms continue to evolve.
Shopper Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Support and execute customer specific and channel marketing plans
  • Aligning national media and eCommerce investments to deliver optimized results, while positioning Hostess Brands as a strategic partner from the perspective of our retail customers
  • Manage customized customer marketing requests in partnership with sales operations, coordinating the creation of required content and tactical planning
  • Prioritize program requests and budget recommendations for Shopper Marketing activities
  • Align Brand and Retailer objectives to deliver volume and commitments of the Sales teams
  • Manage trade show creative design and trade show award submissions. In partnership with sales leadership and sales operations, ensuring top initiatives are represented, and our booths visual reflect our brand and corporate design
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
  • Minimum 1-2 years direct marketing experience in partnership with sales required,
  • 1-2 years of experience in content management is a plus
  • Proven knowledge of CPG, Retailer systems and Digital Shelf Basics
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and working in eCommerce, Digital Content, and PIM platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and partners across a large product catalog and diverse customer base
  • Detail orientated, collaborative worker and effective communicator
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
  • Self-starter that can work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Enjoys building trust, rapport and influencing cross functional partners
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging shopper insights and marketing to drive business results with customers
  • Required 10-20% Travel
