Responsibilities:
  • Support Relationship Managers in prospecting efforts including prequalifying leads, providing potential terms and determining next steps
  • Participate and take notes on customer calls and maintain Salesforce records on behalf of Relationship Managers
  • Run pricing and return analysis for new and existing relationships
  • Monitor transactions in the pipeline from initial contact through closing by updating the group on status and any anticipated changes to expected timing
  • Complete analysis and financial model for screening memos, credit approval packages and internal reviews for new and existing clients
  • Engage with customers, vendors and others as needed to obtain items during the underwriting and documentation process
  • Provide out of office coverage for Relationship Managers
  • Utilize analyst support to work through deal flow and reporting tasks in order to create a collaborative, learning environment

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional analytical and credit skills with formal training from a bank, credit fund or nationally recognized credit training program
  • Ability to identify trends, risk factors and potential mitigants
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and run financial models
  • Understanding of credit agreements, intercreditor agreements and other loan documents
  • Knowledge of standard banking products
  • Ability to monitor and engage on multiple transactions at one time while prioritizing to ensure each deadline is met
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and communicate effectively with both internal and external parties of various levels
  • Ability to recognize inefficiencies in processes and recommend changes to improve internal procedures
  • Extraordinary levels of motivation and initiative
  • Effective team player who wants to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build working relationships across the organization
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint in order to produce analysis, reports, memos and presentations
