Stock & Trade Design Co. is seeking an advanced Associate Leader of Operations (Assistant Manager). The Associate Gallery Leader will have a background in luxury retail and/or luxury furniture/interior design. Must have a demonstrated ability leading a team on Operational standards, policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, the ability to account for the bigger picture, and lead the team through positive coaching & excellent communication.

• Accountable to the Gallery Manager for process compliance and quality metrics
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Maintains inventory count of supplies and order replenishment in a timely manner while staying within budget
• Maintain budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies
• Maximize company sales growth and profitability by maintaining the stockroom and sales floor and facilitating the flow of products in order to maintain brand image and provide an engaging experience to customers

• Complete essential inventory control functions in an effort to support financial and inventory accuracy

• Oversee replenishment of product on the sales floor in a timely manner throughout the day/week
• Support an engaged customer experience by maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom in addition to executing seamless customer pick-ups

• Lead and direct Visual Merchandising Team on product placement upon receipt

• Actively participate in weekly merchandising meetings, store meetings, and training sessions

• Perform opening and closing duties as directed by management

• Maintains a deep talent bench by continuously developing internal talent and attracting external talent

• Recommend and initiate changes with guidance from the Gallery Leader, as needed, to improve overall efficiency

• Communicate and coordinate with the Associate Gallery Leader, Sales & Service and Receiving Leader to ensure receipt and delivery of product to customers, while keeping records up to date

• Maintain standards of safety and security in relation to loss prevention
• Must have a polished, professional demeanor and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
