The Associate Financial Analyst reports to the Industrial North America Supply Chain FP&A Manager and is responsible for assisting close, reporting, forecasting, planning processes for Supply Chain North America. This role serves as a key liaison between the Controller’s team and the broader Industrial finance team and interacts regularly with senior leadership. This high visibility role provides a unique opportunity to assist with meaningful discussion between finance and the Supply Chain operations, as well as explore strategies to improve the KPIs and overall profitability.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain reporting, forecasting and planning processes
  • Provide timely and accurate analyses on financial performance and assist with initiatives for margin enhancement and productivity improvement
  • Partner closely with division and finance leadership as well as various operational partners to understand drivers, analyze trends, and review performance
  • Support development of strategic content for collaborative business management with key business partners, including financial modeling, developing timely and accurate financial analysis, building presentations, and delivering content
  • Assist with enhancements for performance measurement tools and reporting, leveraging improving BI capabilities
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects, securing relevant data and conducting appropriate analysis to clearly and effectively communicate the results

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills – must be a quick learner
  • Ability to identify key metrics critical to business performance and provide easily understood and actionable management reporting
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with ability to interact with executive management
  • Strong relationship skills capable of working effectively with sales, marketing and other functions
  • Organizational skills
  • Technical capabilities including systems skills, e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, EPM
