Overview of the role
The Continuous Improvement Associate is a crucial part of the team that maintains and improves the quality of The Trevor Project’s Crisis Services programs. Reporting directly to the Manager of Continuous Improvement, they will work to support the Continuous Improvement team, so as to drive innovation and own workstreams that ladder up to key priorities to ensure high-quality care to LGBTQ youth in crisis, as they relate to quality assurance . The Continuous Improvement Associate will work collaboratively to develop and implement new processes and initiatives, and refine existing ones, to reflect best practices that are efficient and effective to improve the user experience and increase the scale of our services.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the implementation of projects to improve the quality, efficiency, and scale of The Trevor Project’s Crisis Services programs.
  • Support manager-level team members in conducting discovery and research to ensure projects are grounded in industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Aid in the creation and evolution of policies, processes, and resources for our Crisis Services programs.
  • Facilitate group meetings, office hours, and discussions across teams
  • Use data to ensure tasks get completed, including contributing to literature reviews, assisting on document creation and editing (using Google Suite), and other administrative tasks.
  • Successfully complete Crisis Counselor training and take counseling shifts on a monthly basis.
  • As an organization that operates 24/7, must be available to work the occasional evening or weekend.
  • Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned.
