Giant Tiger Wholesale (GTW) is looking to hire permanent Warehouse Associates for our e-Commerce Fulfillment Center in Ottawa, ON.
We are looking for individuals who are interested in a long-term career options where job advancement is encouraged. eCommerce Warehouse Associates will receive milestone pay rate increases and profit sharing awards after completing two years of service with GTW. Warehouse Associates will also receive material handling equipment training, full medical & dental benefits and a store discount.
eCommerce Warehouse Associate - Role Accountabilities

Receive, sort and store inbound product
-
Pick and verify products based on Pick Tickets
-
Place product in appropriate packaging for shipping
-
Place shipping label on packaged product
-
Enter details of packaged orders into order management application
-
Assess the condition of returned product and determine how to dispose of the product
-
Enter inventory counts into Excel file and merchandise management application
-
Perform tasks to clean/tidy the warehouse as requested
-
Comply with GTW’s policies and procedures as well as OHSA and MSDS Standards
eCommerce Warehouse Associate - Required Skills & Qualifications
-
Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
-
Able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
-
Experience operating powered material handling equipment (pallet truck, reach truck, counter-balance forklift) is an asset

Strong attention to detail
-
Strong written & verbal communication skills

Experience using MS Office and other IT applications

Experience working with AS400 is an asset

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
