Looking to make a difference in the lives of our most precious community members? River's Walk Assisted Living Facility is actively hiring for its grand opening and looking for you to start as soon as possible. This team of caregivers are devoted to providing comprehensive and genuine care to our residents with sincerity and charisma. This team goes above and beyond to ensure those in their care are comfortable and happy.

We are looking for existing Caregivers and for those looking to get into the field. CCHS will pay the enrollment fees for you to start your Home Care Aide training!


What You Will Own and Improve in this Role

  • Assisting residents with their daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.
  • Responding to resident needs and requests for prompt care
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of residents' environment
  • Observing residents for changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition

  • The desire to advocate for the resident
  • A love for communicating and caring for others
  • Strong attention to detail

The residents always come first, and the team excels in bringing smiles to every resident in their care. From planning activities to daily living, they maintain a happy, peaceful atmosphere. To Be Successful

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

CNA or HCA licensure is required. Talk to us about our CNA classes and HCA training! Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential community or long-term care setting is preferred.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
CNA or HCA required
Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential community-based or longterm care setting also preferred
Must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to lift minimum of 50 pounds as needed in direct care provision of residents.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to work full-time or part-time as agreed upon, on assigned shift, including weekend and holiday rotations
Potential for exposure to blood-borne pathogens
