Hand & Stone is looking for an Assistant Spa Manager in Puyallup, WA. At Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, we pride ourselves on delivering Wellness in our community at affordable prices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisor/assistant manager/management sales experience in fast pace environment (preferably in a luxury hotel or spa environment) with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

The primary Qualifications and Requirements of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience assisting/supervising/managing a team of 15+ employees(required)
  • Results Driven individual with a proven track history of success (required)
  • A passion for people and sales
  • High level of enthusiasm: A "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to balance coaching/mentoring with discipline and conducting tough conversations when needed
  • Expert in multi-tasking and staying organized in several different areas at once
  • Strong organizational/planning and computer skills
  • Experience with a booking system is a plus
  • Assist with managing the daily operations of a busy spa. Ability to stay calm under high-pressure situations with both staff and clientele alike
  • Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of both massage therapy and facials
  • Assist with administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll, scheduling, inventory, and reporting
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays
  • Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line
  • Being a liaison between the Regional manager/owners with the Spa Manager, in communication with spa staff
  • Coaching/training/developing your front desk team to deliver five-star customer service
  • coaching/training/developing the front desk team in all things "membership"

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
