We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our Lakeside Mobile Home Park located in West Palm Beach. FL.

We know you are the key to taking our company to the next level! Our Assistant Property Managers will be responsible, under the direction of the Property Managers, for many aspects of a manufactured housing community. This position is responsible for interacting with current and prospective residents who have questions or concerns, being highly organized, having exceptional customer service skills, and being comfortable and passionate about the property management industry, with a proven track record of success.

This position also includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assist with occupancy rate on a consistent basis by actively participating in marketing of the community to maximize occupancy
  • Help with collection of all rent and fees in a timely manner which includes following up and reporting on rent delinquencies for specific residents as required
  • Assist in ensuring compliance to company home standards around well maintained properties
  • Maintain the Property Office to required standards and ensuring general office work is completed, to deadline, 100% of the time. Create and maintain community relationships
  • Perform prompt follow-up and follow-through on prospects and applicants
  • Adhere to all state, government, and local requirements to meet and exceed the expectations of all Fair Housing guidelines
  • Be adaptable to changing circumstances and a fast paced environment
  • Assume leadership role of the property in the absence of the Property Manager
  • Work with integrity and honesty
  • Stay calm under pressure and follow through on your commitments
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience within the property management industry, preferably in manufactured housing property management. If not, 1-2 years of experience in customer service in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Computer proficiency, including the internet and experience using Manage America, preferred
  • **Bilingual in Spanish Required**

Salary: $16.50 to $19.00 per hour
