Required Education and/or Experience:

Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field (exemplary experience may also be considered for applicants with a Master’s degree in a related field);

Must be able to obtain a US government security clearance.
Preferred Education and/or Experience

Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility;

Consistent cybersecurity research and publication record;
-
Commitment to excellence in both graduate and undergraduate education;

Significant leadership experience with community building and outreach;
Job Duties and Responsibilites:

Develop curriculum and new modes of instruction;
-
Teach effectively in classroom and lab settings;
-
Establish and sustain independent research;
-
Produce scholarly publications in leading scientific journals;
-
Present at major conferences;
-
Work with major funding agencies;
-
Secure external funding;
-
Supervise graduate students;
-
Participate in and contribute to major professional societies;

Participate in shared faculty governance and departmental committees;
-
Contribute through research, teaching, and service to the diversity and excellence of the learning experience in order to train the next generation of computer scientists;

Foster relationships with representatives of the Central Arkansas cybersecurity industry;

Perform other duties as needed in the department, college, and university.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Abilities to develop and sustain a productive research program in cybersecurity;

The ability to supervise graduate students and postdocs in cybersecurity;

The ability to teach and advance the curriculum in cybersecurity effectively at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
