Job Summary

The AACSB accredited Soules College of Business at The University of Texas at Tyler (UT Tyler) is seeking applicants for one full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management. Position is projected to begin in Fall of 2023. Review of applications will begin on June 15, 2023. The position will remain open until filled.

Essential Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain a well-defined research stream in HRM in high-quality peer-reviewed academic journals.
• Teach three (nine credit hours) undergraduate and graduate courses (including MBA courses) each semester, including face-to-face and/or online delivery.
• Be effectively engaged in service in the department, college, university, and community.

Required Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Business or Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management or in Labor Relations
• Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity in quality academic journals.

Additional Information

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
