Assistant Operations Manager and Dispatch
Small local family transportation company located in Platte City, MO.
We are looking for an individual with prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industr that has good communication, computer and analytical skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented and multitask.
Dispatching
Hire Drivers
Coordinate loads with customers and with fleet.
Update load information on computer.
Ensure on-time pick ups and deliveries.
Manage load concerns.
Assist with driver calls, including inquiries, concerns, fuel needs.
Contacting vendors for estimates and repair work on equipment.
FULL TIME - Weekdays
Salary is negotiable
