The new soon-to-open SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront Hotel is now accepting resumes/applications for the position of Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This beautiful custom built hotel will feature 156 suites and an oceanfront restaurant/bar.

JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will supervise, train and inspect the performance of assigned Room Attendants, Laundry Attendants, Housepersons and Lobby Attendants, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the standards of the hotel, Shaner Hotels and Marriott International. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. Maintains room, corridor, and service area cleanliness, and ensures proper working condition of assigned areas and equipment by writing, submitting, and following through on maintenance requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum two years’ prior experience as a hotel Guest Room Attendant. Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests/visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to provide legible communication and directions. Knowledge of proper chemical handling, proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.
