We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to lead our opening team of The Saint in Dallas, TX! We will open just north of Deep Ellum, in the spring of 2023. The Saint promises fresh pasta, dry-aged steaks, and options for vegetarians and vegans.

The purpose of the Assistant General Manager is to support the direction and leadership the General Manager provides for management and service staff. The Assistant General Manager will help lead the team to achieve the operational and financial goals of the venue; monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; ensuring high guest satisfaction and an exceptional experience, while also executing other initiatives as implemented by the General Manager and Executive Management.
What we are looking for:
  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability. Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and assist executive management with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets.
  • Managing Human Resources responsibilities for the restaurant to include: quality hiring, training, creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), terminations, scheduling and payroll.
  • Maintains excellent knowledge of restaurants food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties. Effectively communicates with BOH on menu rollouts, specials, changes or 86’d items. Scheduling of daily pre-shift meetings with FOH & BOH
  • Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules, regulations and the development of our culture for the restaurant staff. Owns restaurant’s execution of F&B initiatives, maintains the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of the restaurant.
  • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience. Reacts to any guest complaints and takes any appropriate action. Manages Restaurant’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices. Work alongside the culinary team to ensure a seamless service experience between kitchen and dining room.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years prior fine dining Managerial experience.
  • Candidate must have advanced working wine knowledge.
  • Candidate must be experienced with computers including Microsoft Office.
  • Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be a team leader, player and have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, must be able to work weekends, and holidays.
