Sperry's Moviehouse in Port Huron has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team.

The AGM provides leadership and direction to the theater staff members to ensure that all team members are guest and team focused, while contributing to enhancement of the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

· Greet and educate guests about concession items, movies, rating systems, and theater directions so guests feel welcomed, well informed, and are able to choose from a variety of options

· Handle all customer issues in a quick and proper manner

· Manage and oversee employees in crew operations ensuring that they are providing outstanding customer service by consistently going above and beyond to ensure all guests enjoy their experience

· Aid in the completion of the payroll process

· Respond to guest comments while educating and empowering other employees to act in similar capacity to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and quality

· Manage and oversee day to day operations of the theater to ensure efficiency and standards are being maintained

· Manage the closing process with balancing drawers and verifying nightly deposits to aid in nightly closing processes

· Assist in scheduling of staff members to ensure the appropriate staffing levels are occurring to provide optimum servicing levels for guests

· Manage recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling

· Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets

· Coordinate private bookings/events

· Distribute invoices and billings for private bookings/events

· Oversee weekly and monthly inventory

· Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the facility

· Other duties as assigned by General Manager

Qualifications and Skills:

· Associates Degree in Business or related field; or 2 years management experience with a
High school diploma/GED

· Restaurant, theater, and /or management experience preferred

· A motivated and dedicated leader

· Strong attention to detail

· Organized

· Willingness to work unusual work hours (evenings, weekends and holidays)

· Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles

· Excellent computer skills to include Office 365 and POS systems

· Problem-solving and customer service skills

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts

· Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources

· Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items on a fast-paced stressful environment
