Vesta Property Services provides property management and related services to developers of planned unit communities and residential associations. SUMMARY

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager assists with all aspects and decisions of the food and beverage department. They must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and offer timely assistance to customers and staff in order to ensure that their needs are met.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following:

• Monitor compliance with standardized portion size and presentation, as well as health, fire, and food safety regulations.
• Manage, track, and control budget and quality.
• Order and receive deliveries and track food and equipment inventories.
• Assign and schedule workers to handle food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with all food and beverage licensing.
• Interview, hire, and train all food and beverage staff members.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position manages all food and beverage staff and operations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a restaurant setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 20 pounds.

TRAVEL:

No travel is expected for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stretch and reach;

Prior server experience.

One to Two prior management experience.

High standards of integrity and reliability.

College degree in hospitality, management or related field.
