SUMMARY
The Asset Management Supervisor is responsible for managing both lender and borrower relationships as well as oversight of a team of asset managers responsible for all borrower requests, financial statement analysis, property inspection administration, reserves etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementing goals and direction set by Head of Asset Management
- Managing client relationships, providing excellent customer service while enforcing loan documents and lender requirements
- Managing all commercial/multifamily asset management functions including financial analysis, property inspections, reserve/repair escrow requests, assumptions, partial releases, modifications, or any borrower requests
- Managing construction loan servicing including draws, escrow requests, final closing, etc.
- Participating in various audits throughout the year
- Managing employees, including hiring and termination, performance reviews, employee development
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reports on the portfolio for various parties
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- 10+ years of commercial and multifamily real estate asset management experience
- 7+ years of management experience including conducting performance reviews, recruiting, training/coaching of staff
- Strong knowledge of commercial and multifamily real estate asset management and loan servicing for Life Company lending
- Ability to read and comprehend complex loan documents and servicing agreements
- Ability to communicate articulately and concisely to all levels of an organization
- Strong interpersonal and partnership skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent relevant experience
