Your role at Baxter

  • The Asset Management Specialist (AMS) for Hillrom/Baxter Respiratory Health will be responsible for developing strategies and relationships to implement plans for maintaining control over all devices in the field: home care and acute care customers, sales reps, internal and external training personnel, and educational facilities.
  • This is where you apply problem-solving skills to minimize quality issues!
  • You'll work collaboratively to investigate and resolve discrepancies with the Home Care and Acute Care Customer teams, field trainers, Sales personnel, Training Support Specialists, Operations team, local and corporate Quality and Regulatory teams, as well as corporate Legal to assure adherence to device disposition at all times.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the return process for any device and/or accessories identified to be returned to Hillrom Respiratory Health
  • Assign serial numbers to entities receiving Respiratory Health devices, as first shipments or warranty swaps, as appropriate
  • Perform audits/investigate to ensure location of assets involving customers, patients, company sales organization, trainers, and other internal personnel assigned Respiratory devices, on a quarterly basis using Equipment Status reports
  • Utilizes multiple systems and analytical problem-solving skills to attempt to resolve the product pick up / return issues, as well as Quality analysis requests as needed
  • Acts as a liaison for other teams for asset quality management process and participates in continuous improvement projects
  • Collaborate with the operations and supply chain teams to assure accurate data in Hillrom system
  • Ongoing review of JDE and TIMS reports to verify timely pickup, return, and documentation is completed per applicable quality processes
  • Work with team to evaluate observed trends in product quality, returns and complaints
  • Work with Home Care Customer Service Supervisor and other team members to correct entries for quality complaints and returns
  • Consult with the local and global QA/RA teams on sophisticated returns and complaint monitoring
  • Report to Sunshine Act representative any non-compliant Acute Care customers, clinics, educational institutions, or account executives who have retained equipment past evaluation date without being invoiced.

What you'll bring

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in a customer service role
  • 2+ years of experience in the durable medical or related healthcare field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • JD Edwards or other payer database experience preferred
  • Experience working independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, fluid environment, pivoting tasks and priorities as needed
  • Proven attention to detail

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $41,500 to $120,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
