What You Will Do:

  • General assembly of electro-mechanical products and devices
  • May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device
  • Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
  • Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device
  • Will use hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment
  • May solder, mirco-weld, and use other related bonding procedures and equipment
  • Assure quality by inspecting your own work and the work of your peers
  • Will use computer and customs software to test and validate quality of product
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

  • Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
  • Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees
  • Most areas require you to lift up to 10lbs periodically
  • Some areas require you to lift up to 45lbs periodically
  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Additional Qualifications:

  • No assembly experience required
  • Assembly experience a plus
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers and vendors both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Strong desire to learn and be a problem solver
  • Must be punctual and eager to improve themselves and their surroundings
  • Basic computer skills highly preferred
  • Must maintain the highest levels of integrity
  • Experience using lean principle a plus
