Job description

Systems Automotive Interiors, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is seeking to direct hire hourly (non-exempt) seat assembly team members for its 1st and 2nd shift operations. These team members will operate and maintain equipment in a manufacturing environment and will be required to sign off on four processes within their first 90 days of employment. Medical insurance and 401k option with company match is offered on day-one of hire. A $500 signing bonus is paid after team member has signed off on their fourth process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Technical:

· Must be able to work either 1st shift schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am until 3:15pm OR 2nd shift schedule of 4/10 hour days: Monday-Thursday 6:30pm until 5:15am with some overtime and Friday work as production demands.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

· Must be able to use hands, fingers, arms and shoulders to assemble seat components.

· Should be able to stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to adhere to Personal Protective Equipment requirements.

· Responsible for meeting plant targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.

· Must have dependable independent transportation.

· Must be able to report to work on time and comply with attendance policy.

· Must be able to complete other tasks as assigned.

Interpersonal:

· Focuses on employee relations centered on trust and teamwork.

· Demonstrates a personality that works in cooperation with other team members towards Building a sense of company teamwork.

· Attends all required training as outlined on the training matrix.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to read, write and understand written instructions.

· High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

· Must have good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and be able to follow oral and written communication and instructions.

· Ability to communicate and work well with others in a group environment.

· Basic math skills are required.

· Previous manufacturing experience desirable but not required.
