Hiring Immediately for Second Shift- Crate Assembler Simpsonville, SC

Now hiring a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join a local team as a Crate Assembler on second shift. The primary responsibility of this role is to assemble and construct crates and pallets to meet specific customer requirements. As a Crate Assembler, you will use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and fasten materials, such as wood and metal, to construct crates and pallets for shipping various products. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and experience using hand and power tools.

Job Details:

Monday – Friday 1:30 PM-10:00PM

Starting at $17.50 plus benefits!

Key Responsibilities

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials and tools required to construct crates and pallets.

· Measure, cut, and shape materials, such as wood and metal, using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.

· Assemble and fasten materials together to construct crates and pallets.

· Inspect and test completed crates and pallets to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.

· Package and label finished products for shipping and transport to the warehouse.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of orders and efficient use of resources.

· Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of 1 year of experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a related field.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

· Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and nail guns.

· Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods of time.

· Attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

· Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

· Second shift availability.
