Job description
Busy architectural office specializing in residential and light commercial projects Seeking project architect and/or architectural draftsman. License not required. Work one on one with owner Helen Bogdanos Professional engineer.
Requirements Include:
field measuring and sketching preparing full sets of construction drawings including site plans, plans, sections elevations. Must be able to look up codes and zoning. Prepare documents for building department. Must be highly organized, strong construction document skills, detail oriented, autocad, word experience, and self motivated.
Office is conveniently located within walking distance of Hicksville train station. Please email your resume with samples of work you have completed.
Must have prior architectural office experience. Must be able to compile full set of drawings. Must have experience with plans being submitted to the various building departments of Nassau & Suffolk counties.
We are also offering an assistant position to recent graduates with no office experience.
