Your Role on Our Team
As an Architect – Advanced Manufacturing Technology, you will be joining a team of Jr. architects and Sr. Analysts responsible for the design, management, and implementation of OT systems and IT technology specific to Manufacturing and Quality operations.
These systems include the expansion and optimization of legacy apps providing metrics like OEE and SPC as well as delivering new systems, database setups, and associated integrations within the selected IoT Data Platform and MES solution to be expanded globally across business units.
A key component of the role includes the ability to interface, communicate, and drive execution with internal business partners such as Controls and Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Leaders, Operations Stakeholders, and internal IT teams.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
  • Develop solutions through effective understanding of business and process requirements
  • Plan configuration of digital architecture and influence the architectural strategy as technology evolves
  • Staying abreast of the latest IT advancements and emerging technologies in the industry
  • Research and propose IT technologies (software, infrastructure, etc.) to converge IT/OT information digitally to be shared regionally and globally.
  • Partner with business partners on a global scale (Asia, North America)
  • Provide consulting and guidance to access or analyze data in useful ways for stakeholders
  • Produce documentation like architecture maps, integration requirements, protocol/data specifications, and as-built documents
  • Build IT credibility by modeling professionalism, excellence, integrity, and passion
  • Technically support and advise project management, developing project plans, and monitoring progress
  • Manage technical deliverables, vendors, and service level agreements to ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for smart factory and connected operations
  • Develop and support Industry 4.0 framework/strategy
  • Contribute to and facilitate the creation of a big-picture, multi-year strategy
  • Support the development of change management strategies and related documentation
The TOOLS you'll bring with you:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology field relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Understanding of core business processes in Quality and Manufacturing operations
  • Self-managed, self-starter, pro-active, and able to manage multiple concurrent activities with time constraints
  • Strong business engagement and professional written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Mastery of technological solutions according to the ISA-95 model
  • Experience with digital development of operation’s KPIs such as OEE, SPC, FPY
  • Experience utilizing protocols OPC and MQTT for data collection
  • Expert level data storage skillset on SQL, noSQL, Cloud, and Historian strategies
  • Demonstrated understanding on IoT gateways including Kepware
  • Understanding of IIoT solutions including data flows to Azure or AWS services
  • Experience with ERP integrations including APIs
  • Proven capability on developing and implementing MES enhancements, integrations, and net new phased delivery
  • Expert skillset manipulating data to enable context between legacy systems and new systems
  • Experience implementing Industry 4.0 Smart Factory solutions
  • Proven implementation experience with web-based client applications
  • Experience implementing barcode scanning solutions
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA design and development
  • Proven execution of corporate level application governance & strategy
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
  • Familiarity with various ERPs including Oracle is a plus
  • Working knowledge of ITIL IT Service Management concepts and principles
  • Relevant technical certifications
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM platform
  • Knowledge or experience with OT systems such as Ignition, OSI PI system, Tulip etc.
