Job description
This position exists to support various clinical information systems that are used within the Huntsville Hospital Health System. This position is responsible for ongoing system and user support particularly during implementations of new information technology, functionality or system use. The position works closely with Systems Analysts, Clinical End Users, Technical Staff, and occasionally System Vendors. Participation in on-call support is required.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Experience:
1-2 years of Healthcare Information Technology experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage a stressful work environment.
- Have working knowledge of hospital processes and workflows.
- Prefer experience in Business Objects/Power Insight report writing.
- Requires ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and programs
