This is a remote / work from home position.

The mission of the OFR is to support the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC) in promoting financial stability by: collecting data on behalf of FSOC; providing such data to FSOC and member agencies; standardizing the types and formats of data reported and collected; performing applied research and essential long-term research; developing tools for risk measurement and monitoring; performing other related services; making the results of the activities of the OFR available to financial regulatory agencies; and assisting such member agencies in determining the types of formats of data authorized to be collected by such member agencies.


The Application System Analyst will provide analytical consultative services required to administer programs throughout all phases of business requirements analysis, software design, system and performance testing, and implementation. Analyze and review budget, schedule, and other program resources. Identify resource shortfalls and make corrective recommendations. Participate in analysis sessions to provide program requirements. Review the business and system, software and system integration requirements to ensure the requirements meet the program needs.


Consider alternatives and develop recommendations. Identify, communicate and resolve risks. Identify and resolve issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project. Research and analyze resource material. Monitor system tests; reviews test results; identify project issues.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist Data Product managers with the design and implementation of product roadmaps for existing and new data products
  • Assist with the consistent maintenance and documentation of Data Product Confluence (knowledge management), Insight (configuration management), Jira (issue management), and Bitbucket (code version management) pages and repositories
  • Assist with the implementation of Agile/ SDLC/ DevOps product development methodologies in a matrixed-based team environment consisting of the Data Center, Research & Analysis, Operations, and Technology staff
  • Assist with the tracking and documentation of data product production, issue resolution, and web metrics
  • Assist with the ongoing implementation of data product lifecycle (development, test, production, maintenance, and disposition) and governance efforts
  • Draft supporting documentation and procedures to help ensure the continuity of data product operations (process maps, standard operating procedures, etc.)
  • Support effective and efficient communications between technical, technology-oriented and functional, business-oriented members of data product team

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 or more years of IT experience
  • Previous JIRA experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communications

Certifications

  • Preference given for Microsoft certification
  • SharePoint Online Administration
  • Atlassian/JIRA Administration

Security Clearance

  • Public Trust
