This Analyst II/Engineering Staff directly supports the Administrator/SCADA Support for managing the business requirements and updates for the SCADA System, the requirements of the Control Room Management Rule, and assist Division Technical Services in coordinating the field installation/replacement of remote terminal units (RTUs). This Analyst II is responsible for developing policies, procedures, standards and training modules; analyzing data integrity and creating database tools; organizing training modules and Operator Qualification records; and maintaining the Engineering Training and Development Program.

QUALIFICATIONS

There are clear precedents and practices which the incumbent uses to determine how this job is performed. This position requires three to five years of relevant work experience or a degree plus one to three years relevant experience. This position requires database and spreadsheet skills.

POSITION DIMENSIONS

This position is not responsible for people or budgets. The incumbent frequently exchanges information with material vendors and suppliers, and infrequently with senior management.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review, process, and maintain Gas Problem & Change tickets for field requests to update the SCADA System
  • Maintain the standards for the SCADA site and point data tables
  • Develop and maintain the alarm management standards
  • Collaborate with Division Technical Services for SCADA site configuration
  • Develop and maintain a SCADA point verification program for SCADA/RTU changes
  • Develop and maintain an HMI screen maintenance and change process
  • Maintain standard register lists for RTUs
  • Research, make recommendations, and develop new policies, procedures and standards in the areas of SCADA and Gas Control
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and standards in the areas of SCADA and Gas Control
  • Administer the review and update processes for new and revised Operations Manual sections for SCADA and Gas Control
  • Maintain training module and Operator Qualification records for the Gas Control and SCADA activities
  • Perform Learning Management System updates and maintenance for Gas Control and SCADA training activities
  • Develop and conduct training to communicate new policies, procedures and standards for SCADA and Gas Control
  • Conduct training for engineers and interns throughout the Company via the Engineer Training and Development Program
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

SALARY DETAILS

$65,413 - $98,121
