Priority Medical Claims is a small medical billing company that focuses entirely on the ambulance billing specialty. Our size allows us to be agile, results oriented and supportive of our staff. The work environment is remote but we still take steps to ensure people are treated well, recognized and rewarded for their contributions. We are based in Beckley, West Virginia and serve ambulance companies in several different jurisdictions.

Ambulance Billing Position:

PMC is a medical billing company that focuses exclusively on the ambulance billing process. We currently have an opening for a team member. The position is full time and it can be worked from a home office if you have previous experience with this type of billing.

This position is part of a small team of ambulance billing specialists. Duties required of the team include entering and submitting initial claims, processing EOBs, posting transactions, follow up on unpaid claims, filing secondary claims, verifying payment amounts, handling denials, assisting with prior authorizations, claims appeals and taking incoming patient phone calls. Responsibilities cover the entire billing process, but they only increase gradually as you become familiar with our unique process and approach to the ambulance billing process.

Including a new generation computer with next-day warranty service and professional IT help for any computer or printer issue that comes up. We start you off with a mentor who is committed to helping you succeed. As you progress and your responsibilities grow, you will have access to our outside legal counsel for ambulance billing questions and complex cases. Just in case you need a second opinion on a difficult claim.

PMC helps out in other ways too. Like reimbursing some of your home office expenses and your local (business related) travel costs. Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
