SUMMARY

Greets and assists dining room guests by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

• Maintain a POSITIVE attitude.
• Attend menu classes daily.
• Set up for tea time.
• Be at the door at all times.
• Clear and reset tables to help speed the table turning process.
• Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
• Greets guests, escorts them to the appropriate tables, and provides menus. Follow the rules of etiquette, for example, pull out the chairs for the ladies, check coats, using the guests' names when known, etc.
• Inform manager of any complaints that may arise.
• Do all daily and weekly sidework as assigned.
